Daily Yarra Valley Wine Tours

Taste The Flavours of Victoria’s Best Wines

Are you by yourself?
Or maybe with a friend or two? Join our group winery tour!

We will take you to five of Yarra Valley’s most popular and photographical wineries, Chocolaterie, cheesery and gin distillery for wine tastings and lunch.
You can bring your own food, or you will get the chance to buy your own when we visit Hubert Estate for lunch. All tastings are included in the tour price.

We don’t do rushed, awkward group tours. We do relaxed days out where the wine’s flowing, the views are rolling, and the people are easy to talk to. Our daily public tours through the Yarra Valley are a chance to unwind, explore, and enjoy hand-picked wineries, distilleries, and food stops with a group that feels like a gathering, not a crowd.

Think of it as a ready-made day trip from Melbourne with zero hassle. Red Carpet Wine Tours know the best spots and the smoothest routes.

Our Daily Tours are perfect for solo travelers!

Have a fun day With Us!

The Itinerary For Your Unforgettable Day Wine Tasting in The Yarra Valley

8.40 am

We meet at “The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia”, Flinders Street, 3000 to depart promptly at 9am.
(This is directly opposite 154 Flinders Street) It is a 2 minute walk from Melbourne’s main train station – Flinders Street Railway Station.

10 am

We arrive at Soumah Wines to sample a variety of red and white wines.

11.15 am

St Huberts Cellar Door @ Hubert Estate where you will sample four of their well-known wines. Don’t feel like wine? Let us treat you to a beer instead?

12.30 pm

Quarters Restaurant @ Hubert Estate, where we all sit on one or two tables together, where we all order and pay for our own lunch and drinks. (If you don’t want to join for lunch, you can walk over to the cellar door and buy yourself a drink whilst enjoying the artwork they have on display in the indigenous art gallery on the floor below).

OR

12pm – Lunch at Domaine Chandon. If you want to separate from the group and have a slightly more fine dining lunch experience, then you can make your own lunch booking at Chandon for 12pm.
Just notify us of this the day before you wine tour.

2 pm

Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery for a guided tasting of 10 different mouth-watering chocolates to sample. After the informative talk, feel free to buy yourself a delicious gelato to quickly enjoy before getting on bus to head to the last winery of the day.

OR

Yarrawood Estate. If The Chocolaterie isn’t your thing, then let your driver know at lunch and they will happily take you to Yarrawood Estate Winery where you can buy yourself a glass of wine. Or we can also take you to Balgownie Estate early where you can buy yourself a drink before we arrive with the rest of the group and pay for your wine tasting.

3 pm

We arrive at our last stop of the day, Balgownie Estate, for wine tastings with a view!

3.45 pm

Depart from Yarra Valley to be back to Federation Square at between 4.55pm-5.20pm.

We have chilled coolers and waters onboard. We share the music, so you can pitch in with the Spotify playlist if you love your music whilst driving.

Frequently Asked Questions

The bus leaves from the beautiful Federation Square in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. So we suggest you arrive well before your departure time and take a wander through Federation Square and take in the sights. Then get to the bus nice and early and check in with us and get your pick of the seats. The bus leaves promptly at departure time every single day.

Absolutely! You will be spoilt for choice for food and drink in the Yarra Valley but you can bring whatever you like as long as it is not consumed at any of the venues we visit.

Unfortunately not. All tickets are the same price, but we will get you a drink at each venue instead of a wine tasting.

At exactly the same place we picked you up from 🙂

We thought we would give you some freedom on the tour, so we stop for lunch where you can eat your own snacks somehwere away from the winery and the bus or you can join the group inside and order your own lunch and pay with cash or card.

Apart from an awesome host driver, we never know what type of people or nationalities will be on the bus. That’s the beauty of our public tour!

If you want to have your own private tour on one of our many different vehicles, then fill in our enquiry form and we will give you a quick call to discuss what you would like to do, where you would like to visit and where you want to be picked up from.
